Practice

We are not meant to walk this life alone. Across the world, intact cultures understand this deeply—celebrating, honouring and holding one another through the turning points that shape who we become. Yet here in the UK, we face an epidemic of loneliness and a lack of meaningful guidance through our most important thresholds.

Whether welcoming a new life, supporting the shifts between and beyond school, witnessing commitments of love, or holding communities through grief, I work with people navigating change. These thresholds are moments when identity reshapes, relationships transform or life asks us to step into something new.

With over ten years’ experience as a coach and celebrant, I support individuals, families and communities to make meaning from life’s changes. I weave arts, mindfulness and nature-based practices into supportive coaching sessions and bespoke celebrations that cultivate belonging, beauty and depth. Together, we create pathways towards cultures that honour each other through all of life’s crossings.

Journey

My years at Embercombe equipped me with the skills to hold space for profound personal change, mentoring hundreds of young adults as they reflected on their past, navigated transitions and stepped toward their gifts and purpose. This work also taught me the power of ceremony – and the importance of marking significant moments with intention and beauty.

My sensibility for ceremony-making has been enriched by my arts background, studies in anthropology,  and participation in symbolically rich cultural practices where ritual is vital to community and deeply honours the more-than-human. I’ve been part of groups celebrating the Celtic cross-quarter festivals, deepening my relationship to seasons, ritual and community.

I trained as a coach in 2015 with the MOE Certified Coach Training Course, and as a celebrant with Sue Gill and Gilly Adams of Dead Good Guides. I led my first wedding in 2017.

I am now developing new projects under the umbrella of dot dot dot, creating offerings that support learning through life transitions.

My any of these tools have been developed alongside education projects. Find out more by clicking below.
